Lessons Not to Repeat History: Argentina

Political violence was (and is) felt in Latin America with all the savagery it can carry along. Hundreds of thousands of people, usually from the most vulnerable segments of society, became the main victims of the power disputes.

They say everything happens for a reason and that is “to learn from the experience”. The least a society which has endured such a hell can do is learn from the mistakes and use them to evolve. Anything less is a lack of respect for the blood spilled.

This is the second part from a series on political violence in Latin America. We hope it contributes in someway to refresh collective memory and save us from committing the worst possible mistake: forgetfulness.
