Sur Press was established as an organization in London, United Kingdom, in June 2003 by a varied group of media industry professionals with close ties to Latin America.

Our mission is to purvey information through different means, in order to increase awareness and allow for a better understanding of Latin American cultures and occurrences, both inside and outside of Latin America. We focus on contributing to increase democratic social pressure towards fairer conditions in the region.

Our vision is to see Latin America as a region that ensures sustainable freedom, democracy, justice, cultural independence and equal opportunities for all its citizens -regardless of social, religious, sexual or ethnic differences- within an ecosustainable environment.

Currently we produce SURPRESS.com, an online bilingual publication that seeks to generate interest on Latin America among the Latin American and international public.
